History
Future Plants was a collective effort among 4 companies intended to realize and market new products in the world of plants. The individual companies were specialized in breeding, propagating, production and trade of miscellaneous perennials.
By combining forces, a type of chain integration was established on which Future Plants could serve the market in its own special way. Future Plants has created and secured a strong position by protecting most of its perennials in Europe, USA, Canada and some even in Japan.
In 2017 Gerrit and Hein Lommerse took over Future Plants and they are proud to continue the vision and work of Future Plants.
The introduction of new perennials comes mainly by working closely together with other specialized breeders worldwide, but also their own selective breeding efforts, just like it happened 25 years ago when Future Plants started.
